Last Updated: 6/1/21

The Exotic Pet DNA Vial was originally released as an Expedition Item on November 6, 2019. They are obtainable through Day 5 Expeditions. All vials are Hard to Obtain, resulting in its high demand and value.

The Exotic Pet DNA Vial can be used in the DNA Incubator to create exotic pets. The Green DNA vial creates a Pet Armadillo Lizard, the Blue DNA vial creates a Pet Snowflake Penguin, the Violet DNA vial creates a Pet Pygmy Marmoset, and the Pink DNA vial creates a Pet Short-Nosed Echidna.

Note: Exotic Pet DNA Vials are commonly referred to as "DNA" or "Dan" by many Jammers for an abbreviation.

Note: Exotic Pet DNA Vials can only be hatched by people who currently have an active membership. Nonmembers must buy a membership in order to hatch their DNA Vial, or can trade for one already in an incubator.

Note: Exotic Pet DNA Vial hatches are random, there’s no way to predict the colors and eyes of the exotic pet that hatches out of it. The only thing you can predict are the types of pets that hatch from it.

Note: The Blue DNA Vial is extremely uncommon due to it not being obtainable since December 2019, there are currently only 9 Blue DNA Vials confirmed in-game. Some people may overtrade for them or ask for overtrades if they have them due to this fact.

Note: Some Jammers may try to trick you into thinking that the red/pink variant of the Exotic Pet DNA Vial hatches a fifth type of exotic pet. Do not get scammed; these jammers are only trying to get you to overtrade for the vial. This exotic pet DNA vial hatches a Short-Nosed Echidna and there is no fifth type of exotic pet.

Lowest/Default

The Default Pet Armadillo Lizard was originally distributed by AJHQ to Jammers who had lost their lizards through being hacked or scammed. Although AJHQ has never officially confirmed whether these are the default variant or not, most jammers consider it to be the default variant of the Pet Armadillo Lizard. This is since it is the only variant to be distributed by AJHQ, making it not only the lowest possible combination, but also a highly unwanted variant.
